Hey, 

I'm Brittani!

My name is Brittani DaSilva, MS, RD. and I am a Registered Dietitian and Virtual Nutrition Coach.  I am also a wife, puppy mama, marathon runner, and US Army Veteran. 

 

I attended Rutgers University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics. Shortly after, I completed my 1200-hour dietetic internship through the Sodexo Dietetic Internships program.

 

After my dietetic internship, I took and passed the national exam to earn my Registered Dietitian (RD) credential. 

 

I then went on to achieve my Master of Science in Sports & Health Sciences (Exercise Science option) from American Military University. I previously achieved a Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance from Iowa State University before I joined the military.

My Experience

My professional nutrition experience includes interning with an NFL football team, the New York Jets. While working with the Jets I assisted in providing the players with fuel for pre-, intra- and post-workout to optimize performance and enhance recovery. I also conducted body composition analysis and used a macros-based approach to help them achieve their body composition and performance goals.

 

As a Sports Dietitian at Rutgers University, I worked with athletes to optimize their performance and build healthier habits and lifelong nutrition skills through hands-on food demonstrations. 

But creating transformations, educating, and improving people's lives through one-on-one nutrition coaching is where I thrive!

Why Nutrition Coaching?

I grew up with an alcoholic father, and ever since I was young, I knew that living an unhealthy life was not what I wanted. I created routine and structure in my life that I could stick to, even when I was hurting most like when I hit rock bottom after I transitioned out of the military.

 

From my experiences, I feel it is my duty to help you create more structure in your life and put your own health first. I want you to feel confident in your skin and live a healthy, vibrant, and abundant life. Weight loss and learning to navigate life's challenges is a battle that can be won. I want nothing more than to see you succeed.

I know that the world of nutrition can be confusing. Diet culture, the media, celebrities, and brand ambassadors/ influencers have made it hard as hell for people to know what nutrition advice they should be following.

I will keep things simple and help you navigate the nonsense. In fact, we will throw out all the lies you've been told! I will help you understand how to fuel and nourish your body and give you guidance on how much you should be eating so you can reach your goals and maintain these healthy habits for the rest of your life!

It is my mission is to lead you in gaining the knowledge, skills, routine and structure that you need to become your healthiest, happiest, and most confident version of you!
